With the NFL season upon us, we have agreed to a deal with O’Neills in Liverpool City Centre to be our official social partner for the 2018 season. This will give us a base to hold all of our social events for 2018, including ‘Signing Sunday’ (21st January 2018), our Superbowl Party (Sunday 4th February) and all of our pre-season events leading up to our season kicking off in Aril or May next year. The deal will see O’Neills providing the Nighthawks with financial assistance for the 2018 season, whilst the Nighthawks will carry the O’Neills logo on their team clothing for the whole of next season.
Having recently undertaken a refurbishment, O’Neills has recently launched ‘NFL Sundays’ and it is seen to be the perfect partnership between the two organisations. Having also just acquired the social agreement with the LJMU Fury team for 2017/18, Team Leader David Cunningham, said this ‘We are absolutely delighted to have teamed up with Merseyside Nighthawks. After enquiring for a couple of years about getting the team down we finally achieved it this year. I think this is the perfect partnership for both, as we cater for all needs, families, chilled drinkers and even the party goers. We now have the 2 biggest teams in the northwest and hope for a long partnership together’.
Pete Horgan, sponsorship co-ordinator for the Nighthawks said of the deal ‘We’re pleased to be basing ourselves at O’Neills for the 2018 season and hopefully beyond. David has been an avid supporter of the Nighthawks for the last few years and has been keen for us to hold our huge Superbowl parties at O’Neills for a number of reasons. Supporting a local team has always been high on O’Neills priority list, and we’re very pleased that David chose us, along with the LJMU Fury, to support this year.’
