I thought it went really well. We solidified our place in the Prem by making it to the playoffs for the second year in a row. Even though our trip to London was without a win I could really tell our team is getting better year by year, which makes this year really exciting.
How has the off/pre-season gone for you personally?
Personally, it has gone better than I could have thought. I have been invited to go to the GB camp which is a real high for me. Also seeing everyone in the gym and getting ready for this season is great. Training is going really well and it feels like we are just starting where we left off last year. Having made some really good additions there is a real buzz about this season. I have also had some great coaching from Harry and from the recent BPA Passing camp which I feel has elevated my game.
What are you most looking forward to in 2018?
I’m really looking forward to our first game against Manchester. The first game is always one of the most important as it sets the tone for the rest of the season. It will also show the rest of the league we’re here to win 🙂
Is there anyone that you think has shone in practice?
I feel the whole O-line have really shone. After a great weekend camp, everyone on the line has really gelled and are on the same page. Someone else who is really catching everyone’s eye is Murph. He always makes more yards than expected and some really big hits.
