On December 29th 2021, former Nighthawk Lloyd Scott tragically took his own life.

Lloyd was only a member of the Nighthawks for a short amount of time, but he made an impact on us all during his short time as a member of the Nighthawks family.

The Nighthawks remember Lloyd not just through fond memories, but the Nighthawks continue to wear helmet stickers labelled 'LS24' to continue Lloyd's legacy.

Lifting the Lid is a mental health awareness campaign that aims to promote awareness of mental health within the American football community. The Nighthawks continue to wear 'Lifting the Lid' patches on their jersey to show support and further progress the conversation around mental health.
